I did my piano exam a week and a half ago. I just found out my results!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 84!!!!!!! Which is a First Class Honors. AND it was only my first exam!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!

Snow Day

On Wednesday, all TDSB and TCDSB students had a snow day! It was awesome. The last time it happened, it was in 1999. Now it's 2011. 12 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More than a decade. Now only 12 more years till the next one...

53rd Grammy Awards

The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 13, 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will be broadcasted on CBS. Barbra Streisand will be honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year two nights prior to the telecast on February 11. Nominations were announced on December 1, 2010. A total of 109 awards will be presented. Most of the awards will be presented during the pre-telecast which takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which is next to the Staples Center, where the main telecast takes place. The eligibility period is September 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010.
Eminem topped the nominations with ten, including Record of The Year, Song of the Year and Album of The Year followed by Bruno Mars who received seven nominations; Jay-Z, Lady Antebellum, and Lady Gaga each earned six nominations; Jeff Beck, B.o.B, David Frost, Philip Lawrence, John Legend and The Roots received five each; Alex Da Kid, The Black Keys, Drake, Cee Lo Green, Ari Levine, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Dirk Sobotka, and Zac Brown each earned four nods; Arcade Fire, Chris Brown, Muse, Miranda Lambert, John Mayer and Alicia Keys each earned three nods; and Robert Plant, Pink, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Mumford & Sons, Monica , La Roux, Goldfrapp, Janelle Monáe, Sade, Michael Bublé, Fantasia, Hayley Williams and The White Stripes all received two nominations.
On January 13, 2011, the following were officially announced to perform at the ceremonies:

• Cee Lo Green
• Lady Gaga - Born This Way
• Miranda Lambert
• Katy Perry & Snoop Dogg - California Gurls

A week later, the following were reported to be included in the line-up:

Piano Exam

I just did my piano exam. Grade 8. And it was my first so it made it even more nerve-wracking. Now, I just have to wait a week or two for my results...  :O  ;(

Evelyn Keltz is the kind of girl all girls want to be. She's popular, pretty, intelligent (99% average), and has it all. Her mom is a Secret Service agent and her dad is a CIA agent. she has a younger sister named Sapphire. She is going to go undercover for a mission that the CIA is working on. As a spy. But then, she get kidnapped. As it turns out, someone ELSE was spying on HER! It makes sense at first, but then, she realizes who someone is and things get complicated. She realizes that the person in charge of putting her through torture is actually someone she knows VERY well. Someone she trusted.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has the most nominations, after picking up 9 nominations. (What????!!!!)
Anyone agree that this movie SHOULDN'T have 9 nominations? It wasn't the best, but it wasn't THAT bad, was it?
The winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony in Los Angeles on Febuary 26. The day before the Academy Awards (Oscars) take place.
